Everyone likes people with confidence and the ones with confidence attract great people as well. Its universal truth that people are born equal and as we move ahead in life by virtue of our learnings and surrounding the personality keeps taking diffirent shape. At school level or during college/university times its different confidence that you live with as well as are known for but as you get into your earning life its altogether new confidence that starts building.
Believe it or not your saving habits as well as your bank balance affects the way you behave, you stand, you walk, you treat others. Actually it sets your voice tone and gives you the physical well being that you are known for behind your back. Imagine a situation or remember that instance when you went with purse full of money and debit card loaded for shopping with your family….you were cool, calm, composed and walked with confidence to the showroom of your choice, you greeted the security guard with lot of dignity and you had that signature smile while you were shopping in the showroom. Then remember the instance when there was no money in your debit card and you had little cash to shop around……the first mistake you made was you pushed the door when it was required to be pulled and your shopping started with an argument.
A man without adequate savings is always running in panic and a smallest of emergency throws him/her into the hands of others. In such situations all plans are very short lived. You might have seen some people are too greatful….being greatful and living with gratitude is an excellant combination but, a constant sense of gratitude reflects lack of confidence which in most cases is due to poor financial management.
A man with no adequate savings is always concerned about basic things like food bills, rent and running petrol, in such a scenario one can’t afford to think long tern. This is certainly a dangerous trend for the family as well as society since long term development in such cases is just not possible. Even loyalty from such employees is a question mark as they will dodge the employer for patty gains else where as and when they come across some offer, they will never have long term benefits in their mind.

On the other hand a man with adequate savings is a wonderful privilege for the family as well as neighbourhood and society. Such people are confident, live with helping attitude and contribute well to the society in terms of emergencies or otherwise. Such people have long term planning in mind and contribute to the nation building process as well. Look around 10 people in your friends or relative circle, from their confidence and positive attitude you can gauge the depth of their savings as well as investments. The basic difference people with savings create is they talk life and certainity where as ones with no savings will always create a fear that world is going to end tomorrow.

The ability to save has nothing to do with the size of income, rather saving is like a blessing which is practiced by perfectionist. You might have come across many high income people who spend it all on unwanted brands and items of show off and then go broke in the middle of month to depend on credit cards. But, then there are the ones who do not earn big but have created a sufficient pool of money with their savings that they help others at the time of need.
If you dont need money for Child Education, if you dont want to create a wedding fund for your daughter or if creating a retirement fund is not on your cards……still save it to build your confidence, walk tall or may be becoming a helping hand to someone or being part of nation building process. Saving is a fundamental right of yours and you should certainly not deprive yourself of this confidence building process.
A thumb rule to live a confident life that is free from all financial worries is to save 30% of whatever you earn on monthly basis. To practice this you certainly need to apply breaks to some wasteful expanses, this Covid 19 has certainly brought crystal clarity on needs and wants. Our needs are not much but our wants deprive us from saving. As they say SaveFirst – Khushian Har Pal
